Sporting Achievements
I have competed in sport most of my life, having achieved at an elite level a BRONZE MEDAL at the World Club Championships for Dragon boat racing in Penang, Malaysia, representing the Currumbin Divas from Queensland, Australia.
Previously, I was involved in Triathalons (1.5km swim, 80km bike, 21km run) known as a half-ironman, the inaugural Sydney Marathon and half marathons. I achieved 3rd place in the Sydney Typhoon Triathalon (500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run)
I have a Leaders Certificate and Gym Certificate from the Australian Institute of Fitness and have been a Private Gym Instructor and Personal Fitness Trainer for many years.
I also have a Bronze Medallion from the Surf Life Saving Association at North Bondi Beach in Sydney where I was very active as a Voluntary Lifesaver.
Having a great love of the sea, I also have my SCUBA Advanced Diver Certificate and have travelled the world enjoying many wreck diving adventures.
Yoga practice has always helped me attain the high level of achievement in my sports by allowing me to maximize my full potential of connecting with my breath and staying focused.
